Most iPhone users can only use the official app store, which vets all applications before allowing you to decide whether to buy them. While they allow in all sorts of rubbish, such as the wavey-lightsaber app or the “Hey! Look! I made my phone look like a pint of beer!” app, they block applications such as a video camera for your 3G iPhone, or Google Voice.
